Meet our student characters:
Teddy (Theodora)
Teddy (Theodora) likes science and can be described as a nerd. She always has her hair in braids. She is into rocks and crystals and can usually be seen with her magnifying glass. She is not sure what type of science she wants to pursue. She is the oldest of three children and a working-mothers; and is therefore very responsible. She is talkative and can be assertive.
Andres
Andres’ favorite subject is social studies and he is most often seen reading history books. He looks to cook healthy foods from his native country of Peru. He carries a colorful bookbag to remind him of his heritage, since he was born and raised in the US. His hobby is reading Greek mythology. He may be the social activist when older.
Lucy
Lucy is known as being the cool kid because of her colorful and creative outfits. Lucy always include a hat or tam to express your artful side. She is creative and likes all visual arts; always sketching. Possibly a career as an artist in her future. She has a disabled sibling at home.
Joe
Joe is not too concerned about fashion but loves his athletic shoes. His blond hair is usually shaggy hanging down on his forehead. He likes music and can be described as “happy go lucky.” His goal is to be in the music industry. His grandmother lives with his factory working parents.
Marcus Junior
Marcus Junior’s favorite subject is recess. He is smart and doesn’t have to study much. He is known for being very neat about his appearance, in particular his high-top sneakers! His parents are working professionals. He has lots of interest and every week has a new interest.
